Sun is considered to be the regal sovereign of the solar system. Most people worship sun because it is the primary source of life, The energy you take everyday through food to sustain on this world is through Sun. Plant Kingdom is ruled by the Sun which is the primary source of food. Plants can gather the energy from the Sun make it edible source to the animals including yourself. So the energy of the Sun is going to go through biological cycles of life and finally will reach your body. Which is why most spiritual people and erudite followers of Vedas tend to become vegetarian at times, because it help with the flow of energy. There’s no intermediatory animal who involve in their transmission of energy between self and the Sun. Most people do this intuitively because their mind suggest unadulterated flow of energy to sustain themselves, but it will help them different forms. This is the secret of being Vegetarian!
I’ve studied through out the history there been Sun-worshippers all around the world. Which they tend to claim to have most prosperous civilizations of all times. in the context, Incas in Peru, the Nabateans, who built the city of Petra in Jordan, and Shintoism in Japan, Kingdom of Ravan in Sri Lanka attribute their prosperity to the Sun, All of these civilizations had many intellectuals and architectures and it is believed that they have had a secret knowledge of Universe. Actually which is coming down to my point that Sun is considered to be source of light, Light which is known as the knowledge. You can capture light with your eyes which gives the knowledge of your environment. There are other ways you can capture the light. In classical text it is been said that there is eye which is placed in latter part of the forehead and it’s ruled by the Jupiter. It is known as the eye of knowledge. This is how you can see the light that which is considered as knowledge without using your own eyes. Make sense right!
Even today Sinhala-Tamil New year considered to be held on when the Sun is reaching it’s exaltation rashi which is Aries. Sinhala people will do fasting that day until the Sankranti occurs which is the time it takes sun to cross from 29th degree of Pisces to 1 degree of Aries. Sri-Lankans still to this day will show respect to the Sun which is the King of all three Lokhas. Sri Lanka is considered to be one of the prosperous regions of all time When the King Ravana ruled the country 5000 years ago. King Ravana is known sun worshiper in the history and his ruling capacity extended to south india. Even today in India there is practice of offering water to the sun which is known as “Surya Arghya”. There is whole lot of process of doing these practices which is going to give material prosperity and Knowledge.
Sun is primarily offering capitalism to the world which is why it’s giving you material wealth. Saturn on the other hand is offering you communism. This is why when you are true communist you will reject material wealth. Even in the communist social architectures Sun has to be favourable for the head of the society If not people will not obey your actions. So the natural leaders should have favourable Sun in their life which is going to give them ruling powers and capacity.
Sun is considered to be the most dharmic Graha he is good connection with the Jupiter this is why person who is not respecting religion and dharma cannot hold the position of power and authority. When you embodies sun within yourself you won’t really be reactive to stuff that happens on day to day life. You will have more of equal approach everything, A true King must have this quality if they are bothered with sudden emotion entire Kingdom will suffer!
I see now a days most people break the vows of marriage this is going to create havoc in the family. Even in modern day marriages Agni is the primary witness to your marriages. In the old days we Invite Agni to the marriage to make the fire safe for the couple, ceremony is held infront of fire, also there are some rituals and mantras to be done in a wedding ceremony. When one breaks the vow of the marriage will be consider as breaking of dhrama in the marriage and it is affect the other, because Agni is going to consider that you found another person and Agni is going to slowly kill the previous individual that you are been with. So in this regard cheating may cause not just you, your partner also will suffer from diseases.
Also I want to point that when two people coming together, what really happens is two souls coverge together perform a cosmic dance. So you have to respect the boundaries of each other. You need to make sure you are visible to the other person, not just with your body but also with your soula and mind. Your body is just part of your “self”, When you get into a relationship just out of selfish gains of the material world you will always find faults in other person and threaten them with your actions cause being you are not ready to accept the shallowness of your relationship. You need to re-engage the relationship with new terms and sincerity. What I find interesting is that you need the blessings of Agni that which is Sun in order to sustain your relationship for longer. When the standards of Agni is not met relationship will suffer in many forms.
